She raised her eyebrows a little and smirked, "maybe?"

Chloe rolled her eyes and shrugged a shoulder, "now if I answered that, I'd just make things way too easy for you, wouldn't I?"

"You're right. I'll just call Clark and ask him." He grinned brightly.

Making a face, she shook her head, "Clark probably doesn't even remember, you just might have to actually work to get this information, boss." She tugged on his arm and pulled him out of the elevator when the doors slid open, "where are we going anyway?"

He frowned at that. "What do you mean he probably doesn't remember? He's your best friend." Oliver let her tug him off the elevator, though he was still frowning.

She rolled her eyes a little and made a face, "well he is and maybe he does remember and I just don't want you to take the easy way out?" She smiled sweetly, "it is kinda like cheating, you know?"

Chloe blinked, confused and looked up at him, "No, he hasn't, Lois forgot it once, but Clark never did."

"Clark is a good friend, Oliver, he's way more considerate than he seems." She shrugged a little and looked around, "no, you have one?"

"Good. I'd hate to have to try and kick his ass and end up breaking my own bones." He smirked and nodded toward the bike. "I do."

She couldn't help but grin a little, looking at him, "I hope this isn't an extremely early mid-life crisis, boss. I'd be worried if you were having one at 26."

He rolled his eyes and looked at her. "I've had bikes since I was seventeen, Chloe," he said wryly. "I just happen to like them. Besides, if it was some kind of life crisis, it would be the quarter-life crisis." He smirked.

She paused a little and shrugged, unconsciously hugging his arm, she knew Oliver was okay with the teasing and the snark, but she didn't want to take it one step too far and actually hurt his feelings, he was a really nice guy even if he tried to hide it, "well, regardless, you have nothing to have a crisis about."
