Oliver had just sat down to a plate of leftover fettuccinni in his Star City apartment when a familiar gust of wind blew it right off the table.
He groaned, rubbing a hand over his face and moving to clean it up as he shook his head. "Bart, man, you gotta quit doing that," he grumbled.

He drew in a breath, climbing the stairs and then pausing when he heard a faint scream in the distance. Without further hesitation, he raced up the steps two at a time.

But as she tried to move, she realized that she was tied to the table, frowning, she looked down at herself and swallowed hard when she saw her shirt was wide open, exposing her bra and there was an 'x' made with a marker pretty close to her heart.
Starting to panic, she tugged as hard as she could with both her arms and legs.

And from the look of things, she was tied down, her shirt open. Another woman was on a table beside her, lying motionless.
Anger surged through him as he glanced around the rest of the room, but didn't see anyone else.

"Awake already, Chloe?" He asked her as he walked in, holding up his hands as if he had just disinfected them.
She swallowed hard and her stomach turned, "let me go."

Gritting his teeth, Oliver shifted to the other side of the door. Knox didn't appear to have a weapon on him.

"I can heal her," she told him, her voice breaking, "I can heal her with my power."
Dr. Knox smirked and shook his head, pressing the sharp tip of the scalpel against Chloe's skin, "she doesn't need to be healed, Chloe, she needs to be immortal."

Dr. Knox turned to face the intruder and frowned hard, "I suggest you walk away now, whoever you are, or I will have two hearts instead of one."

He didn't look at her face as he pulled her shirt closed. "You all right?"

"How did you find me?"

"Thank you," she said quietly. After everything she had done to him and after how much she knew she had hurt him, he was still there.
