(x-posted to my main journal's fetish filter)
Most disposable diapers these days, whether adult, child, or baby, advertise "refastenable tapes." The idea is that you can fasten the tapes, then unfasten and refasten the tapes without tearing the diaper. This much is true, by and large. What they don't tell you is that once the tapes have been "refastened," they're not going to stick as well on the second go, and will spontaneously become unstuck under stress. Thus, if you find that you have to "refasten," your best bet is to reinforce the tapes with packing or duct tape. Often, it's not a bad idea to reinforce the tapes anyway, as some "refastenable" tapes will spontaneously come unstuck on the first fastening.
Er, for the record, I'm wearing again today. :) As I've pooped once today, I don't think I'll have to poop in my diaper, but I may want a change before school anyway.
There are several diapers in my crate that I have put on and subsequently taken off without ever using them for one reason or another. Once was because I wanted to feel what it was like to wear a number of diapers at once (people will double- or triple- diaper to increase the amount of time between diaper changes; the way to do this is to cut slits in the plastic backing of the inner diaper(s), so that pee leaks through to the outer diaper.) Another was because I masturbated, then decided not to wear for the rest of the day. These diapers are sitting, folded up, in my crate, and while they perhaps ought to be at the head of my diaper queue, they're not. I enjoy the feeling of unfolding a prefolded diaper and putting it on, you see. They'll get worn eventually, though, I'm sure. :)
BTW - the rash seems to have cleared up, and I'm now making sure to get sufficient powder on my ass when I diaper myself. :)
