Title: Kitty for Your Thoughts
Pairing: Matsumoto Jun / Sakurai Sho + kitty
Rating: G - R
Genre: fluff (with a quick moment of smutt...)
A/N: After watching the Shiyagare 2hr SP., something HAD to be written about Sho+kitty. This was written quick and dirty, you've been warned. :P
“Of all the things you could’ve picked,” Jun said with a scowl, “why a cat?” His frown deepened as he watched Sho nuzzle the tiny bundle of gray and white fur. “Are you even listening to me?”
The older man giggled as the kitten batted playfully at his nose. “Of course I’m listening,” he replied, his eyes locking with Jun’s. “But, how can you not love this little face??” he cooed, holding his precious cargo carefully at arms length.
Jun rolled his eyes as Sho went back to nuzzling the kitten, a loud purr emitting from the tiny creature as it rubbed its head against Sho’s cheek. “It’s not me with the problem…” he muttered.
“She just has to get used to you,” Sho said confidently, holding the kitten out to Jun once more. “Here, you try.”
The younger man took a step back, eyeing the animal warily. “No, thanks.”
“Please, Macchan,” Sho cooed. The kittens ears twitched. “Please hold me?”
Jun looked at the big pleading eyes before him and then down into the kitten’s sleepy ones. “…but, the claws,” he whined, “…they hurt.” He pouted when Sho’s lip began to tremble. “Fine. Give her,” Jun huffed, reaching out to take the ball of fur. Yet, as soon as his hands wrapped around the tiny animal, she began to squirm restlessly. Jun grimaced as tiny claws dug into his arm, scrabbling for purchase. The sound of material snagging was the last straw as he dumped the kitten back into Sho’s awaiting arms.
Sho chuckled as the kitten settled down as he scratched behind her ears.

“OhgodfuckrightthereJunshit…” Sho sobbed, his fingers clawing at the rumpled bedsheets.
Jun groaned as he continued to pound into Sho, his fingers digging hard into the older man’s hips. “FuckSho….I’m gonna…OWW!!”
The older man choked on a sob as Jun pulled out mid-thrust. “W-What?? W-Why??” he gasped, pulling himself upright to peer over the end of the bed.
Jun was crouched on the floor, grasping his ankle in disbelief. “That little furball just swiped me!!” he griped. “Look!!” Jun held up his hand for Sho to see. “I’m bleeding!!” Sho stared at the hand in his face and back down at Jun, his raging hard-on making complicated thought processes next to impossible.
Between registering the blood on Jun’s hand and acknowledging that he really needed to get off, his kitten jumped up on the edge of the bed, the fur on her back standing on end, as she glared at Jun. “What’s your problem, huh?!” Jun growled, reaching out to shoo the kitten away. But, the kitten had other plans as she hissed and swiped at the man’s outstretched hand.
Sho burst into delighted laughter as he scooped up the angry kitten, cuddling the mass of fur until it was purring contentedly. “Oh, aren’t you the sweetest little thing…” he giggled, tickling the animal under the chin. “Don’t worry little one, Macchan wasn’t hurting me.”
Jun glared from his position still on the floor. “Next time, we’re closing the door,” he growled as he stood. “Stupid…possessive pets…” he grumbled as he hobbled to the bathroom.

Sho crept silently down the hall, being careful not to bump or trip over anything, least he give away his presence. Jun’s voice became clearer as he poked his head around the corner, and he had to cover his mouth to stifle his laughter.
“Listen here, furball, Sho-chan is MINE. And if you don’t start playing nice, it’s not me who’s going to end up homeless. Got it?” Jun emphasized his point with poke at the kitten’s nose. In turn, she batted playfully at Jun’s outstretched finger.
“Oi!! Are you listening to me?!” She flopped onto her back, continuing to paw at Jun’s hand. The younger man looked cast a quick look around the room, and satisfied that he was alone reached down to gently ruffle the kittens fur. “…you are pretty cute though, aren’t you?”

“Sho, have you seen my ring?”
“It should be on the bedside table. Isn’t that where you always put it?”
Sigh. “Yes, which is why I’m asking you.”
“…”
“What?”
“Eh, heh…uh, check the closet. Back right corner.”
“…what?”
“It’s where she’s been hiding her stash.”
“…”
“Don’t look at me like that! Masaki said its perfectly normal and I can’t stop her from being a cat!”
“…little menace to my sex life AND a kleptomaniac…great…OI!! That’s the sock I’ve been looking for!!”
__
“It’s just you and me this weekend, furball. And if you know what’s best for you…OI!! Don’t’ walk away when I’m talking to you!!!”
__
Jun sighed as another explosion went off on the television screen.
“Would you stop staring at me? It’s unnerving.” The kitten twitched her tail as she continued to stare at him from her place near his feet. “I already fed you. What more do you want?” She blinked. “I told you, he’s not coming home tonight. Or tomorrow. It’s just you and me.” An ear flick. “It’s not my fault! It’s NewsZero!” A nose twich.” You’re not the only one who misses him you know…great!! Now I’m like those crazy old ladies that talk to their cats! Just perfect! And it’s all your fault!!”
The kitten stretched languidly and stalked off to find a quieter place to rest.

Sho padded through the darkened apartment on silent feet. He’d managed to get home a day earlier than anticipated and wanted to surprise Jun. His lovers name was on the tip of his tongue as he entered the bedroom, but he stopped at the heartwarming sight before him.
Jun was fast asleep, tucked snugly under the covers, one hand stretched out across Sho’s half of the bed. And his kitten was curled in a tiny ball on Jun’s pillow, stealing body heat from the younger man. “I’m home,” Sho sighed tiredly, a contented smile ghosting over his lips.
