MGiG 3&4!

I'm supposed to finish packing for my trip to SoCal tomorrow, but I wanted to take a few minutes to continue squeeing about My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.

Have I mentioned that the two leads are cute? And that they have matching dimples? (I ended up in front of my bathroom mirror looking to see if I had dimples. I think I have just the one, but my face is so thin it's probably wishful thinking. At this point, I think I'll take it. XD) She's cute, he's cute, they're cute together. They're so cute, they're suffocating. I don't think I can stand how much squee they send me in to.

I don't remember it being this bad for You're Beautiful. I've truly gone crazy.

Events of Note in Episodes 3&4:
(+ means happy; - means sad; = is neutral)

-Blaming her for missing his audition, our hero Cha Dae Woong strands the gumiho on a boat. Her biggest fear is large bodies of water. She cries, and this makes it rain. He feels guilty.

+Feeling guilty, Dae Woong goes back to get her off the boat. Being far from her bead (which he has because it's healing his injury from Ep.1) and surrounded by water makes her start losing her human guise. Dae Woong puts a tablecloth over her head and escorts her off the boat. One of the crew follows them to take the tablecloth back and when he whips it off Gumiho's head, Dae Woong grabs her into a hug! Awwww, hold her in a hug more often, Dae Woong!

Proximity to her bead has her feeling like herself again, but she insists on more hug time. <3

+Dae Woong teaches Gumiho a few things about being human (brushing teeth, putting lotion on the face) but she eats all of it. She declares it "Delicious!"

(Shin Min Ah is chewing this role up!)

-A drunken Dae Woong asks Gumiho to leave. She does.

What I hated about this (end of Ep.4) scene is that afterwards, I didn't at all believe they could get back together again. I think he is getting used to her, but I'm not really shipping them yet. I'm not feeling the couple enough yet, beyond the fact that they are ridiculously cute.

=There's a also a scene where the Gumiho Hunter explains to Gumiho how she can become human. I don't trust him. (He killed her in a past life or something. Corniest scene in the entire series.) I think he's lying to her. In the legend, Gumiho's grandmother spirit thought she would be happy if she could just find a husband. Drinking blood/poison seems to be outside of that window. But we'll see.

I hope we get to see the grandmother spirit some time. That would be neat!

People keep squeeing over the Gumiho Hunter. I do agree that he is quite good looking, but I find him so creepy. I think his lips are like a girl's. Too much (natural) lipstick or something.

I almost put an /lj-cute on the end there. I need ep. 5&6 (being formal about this boyfriend-girlfriend thing? Awwww!!! XD), 'cuz I've got this pretty bad.
