Follow-up to injury post

Sorry for the delay in story-posting - hopefully I will have the Baskerville post of ACRM up later today, although it might be tomorrow as I will be attending the preview of my daughter's college play of "Dracula".  It's the next-to-last play of her college career, before she goes out into the real world of theater/TV/film production.  (I am trying not to cry)

Anyways, the delay is due to the knee.  I had the MRI earlier this week and then on Thursday went to the ortho doctor to get the news.  And it was pretty good news.  I have "sprained and stretched the HELL out of all four ligaments of my knee, destabilizing it", in the words of the doctor.  I also have a small ACL tear.  So I was put into a knee brace with steel ribs along the side, better than the thigh-to-ankle one.  Then I was taught how to walk with the new thing (no more hopping! Weeee!) as they are working gradually to get me from two crutches to one to a cane to nothing - about a 2 month process.  Because I sprained the HELL out of of my knee. But by 221B-Con I should be fully recovered.

So, doctors and the Tag office for a temp disability tag so I can go to work tomorrow and then first physical therapy yesterday which - ouch! But I am thrilled that the problem isn't worse!
