Busy, Busy Busy (Yes, that means writing)

When the writing bug bites...

I have a LOT of stories in the works at the moment, and I have TWO stories that are completed and in the hands of my betas. They are:

1) Forging the Chains - yes! at long last, this story is finished and at my beta for the first round of edits. I will be editing/reposting the existing chapters on AO3 starting tomorrow, to be followed up by the new chapters (which I will also post on my website at the same time). So in about 3 weeks, the new chapters will be up and that story will be FINISHED!!! to be followed at a future date by a shorter story about Sean & Mason pre-Chains (drafted but not written), and then finally will finish up Chains.

2) Wizard's Honeymoon - a sequel to "Harry Potter and the Poison Pen", this one a mash-up with Sayer's "Busman's Honeymoon". This one still needs some graphics and is pretty rough, so I expect a rewrite, and that it will probably be up in September.

Other stories in progress, just to tempt readers:
The Scarlet Eroica - They seek him here, they seek him there! Those Frenchies seek him everywhere! Eroica has (temporarily) traded stealing art for rescuing doomed Aristos. His biggest problem? Figuring out which side his one true love, Major Klaus von dem Eberbach, is on!

Due Spirits - Maggie McKenzie never wanted to run an inn, especially one burdened with debt and no clients. Her solution? Turn The Fraser Inn into the most haunted hotel in Canada, even if they have to invent the ghosts! Trouble is, some of the ghostly residents are not too happy with her scheme, and neither is her lien-holder, who sends Ray Kowalski to investigate. However, Ray is seeing plenty of ghosts - including the one of Benton Fraser, murdered years earlier in a sinister love triangle.

Watson's Folly - John Watson, youngest son of the Earl of Saughton, was more than happy to leave the family inheritance in his oldest brother's hands while he went off to the Peninsular Wars as an Army doctor, with dreams to one day marry his childhood sweetheart, Mary Morstan. However, his brother's untimely death/suicide has left John as the sole Alpha heir of the family, with estates so encumbered that his only hope for recovering the family fortunes is marriage to Sherlock Holmes, the rich Omega son of a tradesman. Can he find happiness in this loveless match - and before the family curse strikes again?

And somewhere along the way, I will have more chapters of Tales of the Jungle (Sentinel) and Children of the Temple (Star Wars), which have been simmering for quite awhile.
