Oh yah, it was. I played it at a birthday party, but it was rather scary when they were explaining all the rules and stuff -- "This game is dangerous, people have died, and I think you will, too, you, the tall girl over there who is taller than all the short guys in front combined and who is clinging on to that much shorter girl whose name is Juli for dear life...." My left leg went numb nearly every time I crashed, and I had bruises on my leg for a few weeks afterwards. But I didn't die. :D
And I'm having Red Sox withdrawal. Juli and I settled for going to go see Fever Pitch, which probably wasn't the greatest idea. The theatre was packed, and every time some Red Sox player came on screen (Damon and 'Tek in particular), we were all excited and screamed like the little fan girls that we were. Thank God they didn't put us through Nomar's trade. But we actually had something thrown at us! US! I wish I could have seen that movie in New England, where people would have understood our sentiments over those-who-should-be-worshipped-nightly, aka the Red Sox.
And as for the White Sox, I've been listening to talk shows, they've figured that, in order to get the popularity the Cubs have, they will have to win two World Series' (do you pluralize something that is already pluralized? HOOOOOW????). If anything, I would root for the Cubs, because my only experience with the White Sox was where my sister went for a cheerleading competition (????).
And business cards.... Whoo, you have fun with that. But the end of the year is approaching! As for me, I should be researching to find something to complain about -- we're writing complaint letters in English. And I have to memorize a song I'll have to sing in Spanish by Friday, and then learn everything that this unit was about in Science that was taught while I was in a sleep-like stupor.
Bleh, we have to get back to Emailing each other again -- I miss talking to you!
