About 2 weeks ago I moved to a different area of the office where I work. I knew that the 2 women I would be sitting with were of unique personalities and that we might never click on a social interaction level. Sadly I was correct. I’m a support person to both and unless it’s work related they don’t speak to me. Now I could be annoying and bombard them with conversation all the time, but I respect their need to get work done. Besides, I get more work done this was. Solution: Bring in a radio to keep me company.
Today my beautiful daffodil is joined by a “Ferrero Rocher” chocolate, which will be my reward for actually wearing my wrist braces for my entire lunch hour.
My workplace is not conducive to anyone attempting to watch his or her weight. This week alone has been an unending food fest and I'm loving every second of it (and gaining weight). Wednesday was the staff potluck for both breakfast and lunch, which of course had enough food to feed an army. Thursday breakfast was a continuation from Wednesdays breakfast with all the leftovers, a goodbye BBQ lunch for a coworker had curly fries, burgers, and drinks; then on to a second lunch at Triple B’s where I enjoyed a small salad and Neptune sandwich; snacks in the credit dept; jelly candies in my dept. Today was a surprise lunch of BBQ pork on a bun, chicken fingers, cheesecake, spinach salad, and chocolate. I have a great employer!
Well time to go enjoy the pizza I actually brought for lunch.
