Is it really 2007?
Wow, it’s January 2007.
I’m glad my life is like a roller coaster, if it were just a straight track I’d see everything and freak out completely. Speaking of roller coasters, I rode 3 in Vegas. Nearly killed myself and banged up my right shoulder pretty good, but I conquered my fear and out screamed everyone.
The Manhattan Express located in New York New York features a 164 ft drop and a double loop, having said that it’s also nasty and incredibly rough (which would be how I hurt my shoulder on my first day in Vegas). The drop is so severe you don’t get to enjoy the view when you reach the crest.
Zero to Blur in located in The Sahara and lasts all of 35 seconds, but it’s the smoothest coaster I’ve ever ridden. Short, fast, and smooth; what’s not to love.
The Canyon Blaster is located in Circus Circus and features a double loop and cork screw through a fake mountain. Nice ride, and of the three held middle ground very nicely.
So my friend’s Myk and Jenn are engaged, which is awesome. This doesn’t come as a surprise, it was one of those when not if kind of things.
Motely turns 7 on January 21, wow! I can remember when he was tiny enough that I could hold him in one hand, mind you I also remember when he chewed my Italian leather pumps so I’ll just stop remembering now. Currently I’m questioning if I should throw him a party? I threw a party when he turned 3 and it went really well, or at least I had a good time.
So I worked my last shift and I have my weekends back. When I say it, it still doesn’t sound real. But considering all the other changes I’ve been either making or going through in my life, this will be an easy one to deal with.
