All that's new today
Well my friend who has a local online newsletter told me today that my rant columns seem to be a big hit with people. No one seems to comment on them much, but they get readers. It's rather cool to think that someone is reading what I write, and perhaps thinking, you know what....she's got a point. It has been fun to do these rants and I hope someday someone important somewhere will be reading them and take what i've said to heart and go back to the city hall and say, you know....some things we're doing....we gotta change em. Okay so I'm a dreamer, nothing wrong with that though is there LOL.
We had our Solstice Celebration here, the looks on my kids faces at the gifts we got was priceless. At least it took some stuff thats been happening lately off my mind. Lately James and Kurt have really been gettinng into it. James can't just "shut up" when the situation calls for it, and Kurt runs when he senses trouble, and he won't do what James tells him to do. They're both stubborn mules and it's starting to wear at my nerves. TWO Saturdays in a ROW. It's getting to be a little much. I'm not sure what to do about this just yet, but I'm certainly not discarding the "get rid of the poor role model" plan. It is something I'm going to have to seriously consider as this new year approaches.
Sometimes I just wish my life could be a lot less complicated.
