saturday nights studying at starbucks

huh....i never thought i'd be back at starbucks on a saturday night studying. Again. Lordy, i know, you're probably wondering, "But Adrian, didn't you just graduate from nursing school, pass the NCLEX, and have your life back??"

Yes. and no. sort of.

Yes on the graduation and passing. As to having my life back, not so much since i had to continue going to school since the RN visas have not been reopened yet, so, in the meantime, i have to continue with my student status and go to school. For those of you unaware, having a student visa means that i MUST attend school during the fall and spring semesters, no exceptions. while i don't have to worry about reading up on pathophysiologies, i still need to write a bazillion papers as part of my Bachelor of Science studies in Nursing. which explains the heading of this journal.

on an awesome front though, thanks to my fabulous aunt/godmother, she was able to secure me a spot at one of her dialysis units, they've agreed to hire me as a RN, and they'll also sponsor me for a green card!! they're handling all the paperwork, as long as i promise to stay with them for 3 years. it's a VERY fair trade if you ask me! I'm very pleased and looking forward to working for them! I can't wait!!!!

fuck, i'm tired. i think i will continue this rant tomorrow, LOL
