Early Mornings @ Foy

Jan 25, 2007 07:44

So, it's 80 degrees at the desk.  The doors are wide-open and for whatever reason I'm feeling worse and more congested with all this heat.

The past week has been good.  Sunday, studied all day and went to Worship at Wesley.  Monday was low key until KKPsi, the AD class should be great.  I'm excited for everyone.

Tuesday was on of the greatest days on record.  Aside from getting the shaft from Midnight to 8 am.  Once the day started it was awesome.  In my only class we watched a movie.  I took a LONG nap.  I woke up, got ready and made my trek to the Coliseum.

Once inside I could feel it.  We had our little pep rally out front and Coach Lebo guaranteed a win (ballsy, to be honest).  So the game starts after Pep Band ruckus and we have the lead for most of the first half.  Bama goes on top by one at the half.  I'm fairly tense and then Nathan signals Kristen and I to go under the bleachers...and then I see it...THE DRINKS!!!  Score!  Way to go Nathan.  Anyway, after the half we out-run and out-play Bama.  Their fans go home.  We play and sing Rammer Jammer with ESPN cameras rolling.  Basically, the game was a microchosm of what the rivalry has become...Bama thinks they're the greatest and Auburn remains modest until they are able to celebrate in a way so as to have fun but not to taunt.  War Eagle!!!

Wednesday was highlighted by Sarah.  And going to Wesley with her and Allison.

So, here we sit on the cusp of Thursday.

DK out.
