just an update
Had a wonderful day today!
It started with being able to finally to visit Better's church. The Philmeister gave a wonderful sermon entitled "Even Slugs leave Trails" . We then got to have lunch with some of her friends at this noodle place. The noodles were varied and really really good. Her friends were more than delightful! They are warm and intelligent and their hearts are so big! I have to say getting to see Nate in a kilt was wonderful. I really think that more men should wear kilts. The fact that he wore it in such a nonchalant way.... no one thought it was odd. The fact that he looks Scotch Irish and is very big helps I am thinking.
We stopped by ANOTHER Best buy looking for a picture transfer cord for the new phone. They didn't have it. I really want to be able to get these photos off my phone and onto face book! I also have not succeeded in getting them email to me via the phone either. Sigh. I can remember when I wasn't a techno failure.
We took a nap when we got home and then I walked the dudeman over to the church for AWANAs. He was so happy to be there. We are going to need to find some type of sports activities for the Leeners and the dudeman because they are getting a little stir crazy. We are heading over to see the Grand Keslers tomorrow.
On the "having learned something new scale" I have discovered that our Betters is a sports fan... I mean not just the watch a game now and then kind but the I know the back story and the player's names type of fan.. hoooooo booooy! My eldest is amazing!
Talked with the Nanners today. She is doing well and is doing an awesome job keeping up with the animals and the house and the bills. I am very proud of her! I am also glad that she has the help and support of the Sergio.
