Hoday! Some day I want to be able to change the font on this. I like the comic font. It is me.
So I rearranged my office again. I had to squeeze in another bookshelf. I might be tempted to say that as a family we are addicted to books, but then I think "how can that be! " Nope, owning, loving and using books to support walls and ceilings is a virtue. Yes it is - no arguing.
So Here I am working on still more tiny socks for my kids teachers. There are too many of them. I should be baking cookies but am going to hold off on those until tonight. The boy is playing jazz again - I am loving this. I have a personal pianist who plays for cookies - even better - for promised cookies. I have decided to bake your basic survival cookie. Survival cookies are oatmeal cookies with full grain flakes of oats, nuts, raisins and sometimes chocolate bits.
Ok now boy wants to show me something on the computer. its a holiday today and the Leeners and the dudeman are out of school. Its 4:30 here and they are bored. It is gray and overcast - I am not going to beach. If the Philmeister were here I might go to the beach, but I just don't have it in me at the moment. I did move heavy furniture, file cabinets, bookshelves and crates of athletic equipment, (stored in the laundry room today so I am somewhat sore.)
Ok we stopped for a mo to listen to a funny site on the net that the boy just knew I would find funny. I did. :-) Then we mixed the cookie dough - the right way with the freshly washed hands of a little boy doing the mashing and smushing until perfect cookie dough is made. Now , with newly washed hands, little boy is playing a computer game and the first batch of cookies is in the oven. The leeners is having a normal teenage angst day.... wouldn't go back to those days for any amount of money! She is almost playing with the basket ball she got for her birthday, ( along with a few other neat presents like the RING, that is a symbol for a new start in life.) Ok - first batch smells done I gotta go.
hugs to the world.
