What, Mozilla.

If you're going to hype up a 24-hour world record attempt, tell us the time zone it starts.

Download Day 2008 has been advertised to be June 17th all around, but that's based on San Francisco time. And not just general SF time, but 10 am SF time, which works out to the 18th of June, 1 am, Singapore time.

I only found this out by looking through the other user comments and complaints about the lack of organization. I'm not one to do things for spite, so I'll be downloading anyway, but I've seen several comments that people will be avoiding Firefox 3 until the 19th, and convincing everyone to do the same.

If you're going to launch a global activity, either you start from the International Date Line, or you start from GMT.
