It's like every time I use the Computers tag it's when something goes wrong.
Warcraft 3 refuses to run on this computer, and I do not know why.
Basically, the sound for the opening movie plays, but no graphics are shown. After the sound of the movie finishes, nothing. Black screen all the way.
Alt-Tab does not work, or at least does not take effect. Ctrl-Alt-Delete brings up the window, but no changes are observed: cannot shut down, cannot end task.
So annoying.
EDIT: Note that this computer plays Bioshock without any problems, so I doubt it's a graphics card or driver problem. Unless the problem is that it's too new.
UPDATE: And indeed that is exactly the problem.
Downgrading from the beta 163.44 drivers (which Bioshock needs) to the 162.18 drivers (latest non-beta) solved the problem. But now Bioshock is complaining.
