I am (as of an hour and a half ago) teaching a additional course this term. The original instructor (who really really wanted the course, and that's the only reason I didn't get it) has become too sick to teach it, and I really love the course (and can't say no) so I agreed to take it over. Haha! When they found out I had taught 9 courses in a 1-year period, they completely flipped out!

This is actually not that crazy (from their perspective) since I did 2 last term, and only 1 so far this term. Though they actually have me down for potentially 4 in the fall, so they have to decide. I hope they decide I get what I want. I'm too much of a pushover to be a good bargainer.

Also, contract renewal time may end up occurring around $OTHER LIFE-CHANGING EVENT time...

Contract renewal time is the end of 2010. At that point, *if* it occurs, I wouldn't say unplanned.
