Nice theme...looks like a great simple spin on the default kubrick. You should consider entering that into the theme contests that WP puts on periodically.
Good choice overall, wordpress is great, and I think kubrick is a great starting place for any blog. It appears rock-solid in any browser and it simply conveys a lot of information in a limited space.
Now, if I could get off my lazy ass, and squash a few bugs on the churches site, and iron out a few IE holes I'd have actually finished a complete website as well.
