Small update on Heart of King Arthur sequel...
Just putting this in an entry so I could see the progress I'm making on the sequel... it'll be slow as I'm most likely going back to old WIPs after I finish my S3-inspired one-shot... but I do hope I'll finish this sequel. The sequel will be shorter than the first fic as it'll focus on less things...and I'm not dealing as heavily with flashbacks. I do plan to have flashbacks involving when Arthur and Merlin remembered their past life (lives, in Arthur's case) in this current reincarnation.
But I've changed the title to "The Dragonlord's Bleeding Heart" since it sort of matches "The Heart of King Arthur" (heart, lord/king)... the sequel will be more focused on Merlin's new life...even though most of it will be in Arthur's POV, but still all the drama is happening on Merlin's side (I'm so mean to him, I know :(). Bleeding heart doesn't sound very positive, I know...*whistles* Only one really bad thing happens, I promise. It's not a whole plethora of bad things that happened/Merlin did in his past like in the previous story.
Also, I'm surprised I managed such a short summary for this sequel. :P Although it's pretty necessary to have read the first story to have a clue what's happening in this one. Maybe I'll do an introductory refresher, I don't know...we'll see...
Summary as of now:
Arthur and Merlin finally get their chance at being together and Arthur couldn’t be happier. But soon Arthur discovers just how odd Merlin’s new life is. New friends, new revelations and an unanticipated tragedy in this sequel to “The Heart of King Arthur.”
