Well, the pope died. But what can that mean? What is this the end of? I really liked him. I was not exactly up to some of his views, obviously, but he was such an amazing person. He wasn't just the leader of the catholic church, he was so much more than that. R.I.P. Pope John Paul II.
I was watching the news one day and they were talking about the whole budget crisis deal. They were interviewing this lady who had some important position, and then the camera zoomed in on her humongous wedding ring while she was shuffling papers around. I thought that was funny, the cameraman definitely did that on purpose.
