I've been thinking about cleaning out my journal a bit... getting rid of entries that don't really matter (surveys and quizzes, etc).
My Christmas Eve went from dull and boring to quite a nice time. I went out ad built a really big snowman. The bottom part was almost up to my hips. Matt, the landlord, gave me a carrot for the nose. That was nice of him. Everyone is going to wake up tomorrow and see my lovely (and huge (I'm only a head taller than it)) snowman. Yay!!
I took a walk down Elmwood, along with the lonely Christmas-eve people. A big old man in a black peacoat started to follow me. But that's ok. I walked into Wilson Farms to get egg nogg and vanilla cappucino stuff. Then I cam home and my mom and I had some egg nogg with brandy. I mixed in some of my good vanilla stuff and we sat and watched It's a Wonderful Life. Now I'm a little tired from the brandy and comfortable. It's so nice and cozy... I'm loving this night.
I'm going to read the rest of my book, read a ghost story or two (in front of the yuletide tree) and then fall asleep on the big comfy couch, accompanied by my cats. Then I'll wake up, go with my dad to my grandmas, and give him his scarf.
I'm not expecting any real presents this christmas. Only small things like art supplies and gift certificates from the family and I don't know what my parents are getting me. My dad is giving me money and I don't think my mom is getting me anything really. She's letting me wear her Uggs she got from her boyfriend (i'm a vegetarian). So yeah... but the whole gift thing doesn't matter. My perfect christmas would be gift-free.
