Thanks to the resourceful and gracious Mistress Jade for hosting, Wyatt and Zeke for providing sound (presumably), and everyone who turned out to honor Josh and Kate's triumphant return to Wiscoville. I am richer knowing you. Additional respect to Psych0tron and Ryan The Doorguy for their always-exuberant sets. Ditched out before Eurotic! Sorry so tired!
Would have been nice if my final interaction hadn't been with some random dude in the parking lot hollering "Psy trance sucks!" after I wished him a pleasant evening.
On that note...as of tonight I am indefinitely laying to rest my dj alter ego. I reserve the right to bring him out of hibernation on special occasions, but Underfoot, for all intents and purposes, is now dormant. The focus of my djing was never to gain popularity, but to act as a vessel for the music I love so well. I've enjoyed my experience co-founding Audiognomes and the mighty engine known as Chilluminati (with several 2007 events now in the works!). I've made so many wonderful friends, and lost myself in the music more times than I can count. It's okay psy didn't take in Madison. It would be easier to sell your mom on tentacle porn. But, in spite of this, I believe I made a more-than-serviceable shamen, and have reached enough souls to say it was worth the voyage.
