Joystiq E3 After Party!
So I got back a little over an hour ago from the Joystiq E3 after party! I got Heather and my good friend Peter (to drive us!) and we all had a great time! When we got there around 5:45 (started at 6) we were lucky enough to get 12th - 14th in line! We got in and there were sodas and NOS energy drinks, a Wii and PS3 set-up and a 360. But then an AWESOME AWESOME secret game was announced, Rock Band 2! Playable!
I didn't actually get to play it but Heather did and I took video of it and hopefully she will have it up tomorrow at some point.
And free stuff! There was TONS of it! Over 200+ games and swag! We went in order of when we showed up so we had pretty solid pickings!
I ended up with:
* Hot Shots Gold: Out of Bounds (PS3)
* Nyko Wii Charge Station
* Dell XPS T-Shirt
I also got to meet a decent amount of people, Bobby Blackwolf (of AllGames.com fame), CheapyD from CAG, some of the Joystiq and WoW Insider editors.
It was sooooooo fun and totally worth going! There should be some pictures and video up tomorrow :)
