Car repair time

Yesterday the damn Service Engine Soon light popped up and car started acting wierd. Everytime I was at a stop and when my revs get below 1000, the car would start to shake which is really wierd; but as long as the car was in motion or if I kept the revs above 1000 at a stop, it was fine.
Hopefully I can take it to the shop today and get it checked at.
Ahhh, I hope this doesn't hinder my plans for this weekend. I have a party to go to in Newport Beach.
