#Terminus Diaries Day 2 And 3
Owwy my body.
My knee and both my elbows are purple, as is my left forearm, and my right elbow is bloody.
IT WAS FUCKIN' GREAT! :D
Okay, so Nick was a babe and drove us back to the hotel after night one, as it was 9 horribly long blocks and we were all fried. (Nick, Hope you got home, or at least found a nice place to stay overnight! Goddamn flooding)

So the next morning, day 2, me and knob just chilled and looked at loot and ordered pizza. Spotted a fucking HOT Prowler outside while on a smoke break. Guess it was rented for a wedding party. the driver was kinda hot. Asked me to go sky diving. a big resounding yet canadianly polite FUCK NO. hahaha.
I want that.
Eventually waddled our fat asses back to Dickens, (which, by the way, is an awesome place, kudos to the staff for putting up with us all weekend. LOVE the utilikilts!)
My faves of the night, GOFIGHT and KEVORKIAN DEATH CYCLE.
I'd heard of GoFight but I'd never HEARD them. Glad I waited to pop my gofight cherry til then, cause goddamn! Jim Marcus blew me away the night before with die warzau, and again with gofight. Did not pass go, went directly to Merch Table and bought a bunch of stuff. and yes, the card IS good for picking my teeth. Undies bunch up a little tho. hahaha :D (I will be playing gofight on tomorrow's show)
Oh, and Jim M is a totally nice fuckin' dude. and I want hair like that. Seriously, knee length dreads. and he performs barefoot. He's coming up fast in my 'groovy motherfuckers to adopt' list.

OH! Met a fellow Fear Factory Fanatic, Micheal Grayson. Awesome dude. Might see him at Coldwaves. LOL apologies for being scary, dude, I was living offa maybe five hours of sleep TOTAL in two days, and I was hungry. LOL. Hungry tired me = I will eat children. :P
Fuck I don't know WHAT happened on night one, but all of Saturday I was gimping around cause my left knee hurt like a motherfucker. must have twisted it or something, it still hurts a little now but Saturday I couldn't put weight on it without wanting to scream. thank fuck for painkillers and drinking... doubled as ice packs. hahaha Kaine and Greg and a few others I didn't get the name of were really nice to offer assistance up and down stairs & painkillers & stuff all night. Me being a stubborn ho said no. LOL.

They played Static and Prisoner. And Pulse. I am a happy bitch. :D Greg, you are hilarious and ALL of you boys are adopted. Ever find yourself hungry in Saskatchewan come on over and I'll feed you. and I'm getting you a new shirt as it seemed to have fallen apart and got stuck in the mic cord. :P *hug*

Go. Buy this. Not only is the idea great but the music is and Jim is the sweetest dude. Can't wait for #4 to come out. check out the sites above, and if you're in a band, and you haven't contributed yet, get your ass ON IT. As someone who has lost so many to cancer, and has potential to lose herself to it, and has seen people recover from it (hug KEM), This is something close to my heart that I can stand by and support. Oh, and the Storming The Base guys were awesome. I kept organizing thier cds. bad me. bad.
Day three, we had to ditch the hotel at noon. fucking early-ass checkout. BOO. By the way, dont' stay at the Marriot unless you like to get overcharged. The staff was nice enough though, the front desk lady gave us water as a 'gtfo' present. hahaha! Never stayed or gone to a place with valet parking before. Felt like a rich lady!
So, yeah, Knob drove us out of Calgary so we could kill a few hours. Went close to the mountains and took lots of pictures and narrowly avoided stepping in bear shit. Saw a funnel cloud too, which was fucking amazing for me, as I don't get to see them very often. I need a car.
Glad we did that instead of chillin' in the city. Fresh air! Funnels! MOUNTAINS!

oh man but by night time I was soooooooooooooo fried. I dont sleep well normally and in a strange place with bad sinuses and a headache? yeah. two hours of sleep. so Sunday I sat on my fat ass all night guarding our table from the leather hooker brigade and grouchy as hell. My phone died and I looked liek shit and felt worse. was ready to go nap in the truck. buuuuuuuut... i'm too damn stubborn.
Well, I did end up front row for Cyanotic and mid floor for Covenant. Mmmmmmm Covenant.

Seriously, those guys were awesome. and I'm embarrased to say, I had NO clue who that groovy lookin' dude was til he got on stage, then I was all O_o holy shit dude. You guys put on one HELL of a show. and Eskil is a fox. and the whole lot of em look great in suits. They're all being added to Boomstick Beefcake. hahahahah and they put on a great encore!
And Cyanotic, hahaha some assmuncher kept bashing me and the dudes beside me into the metal barrier and now i'm all bruised and bloody. hahahahah that was great! Transhuman is always a fun one to hear :D
GREG THE TATTOO GUY! Oh man, I spent three night trying to read his arms. hahahah had some great tat's of a bunch of my favorite bands. Still laughing about comparing our KMFDM symbols tats. :D

the drive home was okay for me, I slept alot. Poor Notanee though. WE couldn't find our way out of Calgary and somehow we made it back to Regina in 7 hours. hahahaha. Then the poor fucker had to go directly to work. Hope he didn't get in too much shit.
Province is flooded.
Ripping all my new tunage for tomorrows show, putting together a mostly Terminus style set list, so prepare for chairdancing!
Listening to Electronic Saviours V3: remission right now... a-fuckin-mazing. GET IT.
Oh, and watch out for Kaine Delay. I think he's a Terminator Model 101
