Update
Ok. So I had my date with my friend from NY on Thursday........and it was freaking awesome!!! I was scared to death that I wasnt gonna have fun, or he wasnt gonna like me, or that id be so wrapped up in my depression to even care, but it went great. He is such a sweet heart, and we cuddled in the back seat of his car for about 6 hrs. We started off with coffee at starbucks. Tannen showed up as my support, and she loved him like apple pie, and the 3 of us talked for a bit. Then me and him went to Sonic to eat dinner (there are no Sonics in NY, and he really wanted to eat some) and had to play the "so what do you like" game. It was fun. Then we talked alot about ourselves. And eventually he just looked at me and said "Im sorry, but I just have to cuddle with you, i've been good long enough.". So we moved to the back seat, pushed the front seats up, and just cuddled with each other under a blanket for quite some time. Then, at about 2 in the morning, i couldnt help myself and I reached down and kissed him. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO NERVOUS! But he kissed me back.....alot. It didnt go beyond that. We both behaved, just alot of cuddles and kisses. Then about 4 in the morning he drove me home, we had one last 5 min. kiss, and he left. About 10 min. later he called me and told me how much fun he had, and that he was definatly gonna keep me, if i'd let him. OMG!
Then he came out with me Fri. to the open lunar circle. We were too late to participate in ritual, but we snuggled up under a blanket and watched. He got to meet some of my friends, and everyone who met him seemed to like him. I was happy. Then we followed Tannen, Brian, and Jessica to Sonic ( AGAIN! lol) and got some food before going to Tannens place to watch Buffy/Angel. He got to play with the kittens, and Monster seemed to fall in love. And then, as we were watching Buffy, he fell asleep on me. It was so cute! And a good sign, he was comfortable enough around me to fall asleep....on me no less. lol. Then when buffy was over, he drove me home again, we had another mind blowing goodnight kiss, then he called me on his way home.
The last two days have been made of much win. I have needed some happiness, and he is a Goddess send. I think I like dating older guys much more now then guys my age ( he is 28, im 22). Also, i never thought id get along with a new yorker so well. lol. Im not gonna see him for about two days, as he still needs to unpack from his moving here, as well as spend time with his momma. But the funny thing is, his mother has already invited me and him over to dinner with her some night soon. (^_^)
