CNN's Second 100 Days Report Card: my responses

Aug 02, 2009 13:24

I just got done taking CNN's survey on President's Obama's second 100 days. Here are their questions and here are my responses to them. You can take their survey too by clicking here --->  http://reportcard.cnn.com/

Q1: Grade the Obama Administration's handling of the economy.
Q2: Grade the Obama Administration's handling of health care reform.
Q3: Grade the Obama Administration's handling of foreign affairs.
Q4: Grade the performance of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Q5: Grade Vice President Joe Biden.
Q6: Grade the performance of YOUR state's two Senators.
Q7: Grade the performance of Congress.
Q8: Grade the performance of the Republican Leadership in Congress.
Q9: Grade the performance of the media.
Q10: Grade President Barack Obama.

Q1: I gave the Obama admin. an 'A' because they are clearly doing their best with a situation handed to them when they stepped into office. Sure there may be hiccups along the way, but in the over all long-run it's what we needed.

Q2: A- They're working hard on getting it fixed and reformed but we need Republicans' help and for Obama to firmly dispell myths put out by critics.

Q3: A+ on foreign affairs! His speech in Cairo was brilliant and shows the true competence this President has with dealing with foreign affairs.

Q4: A+ Secretary of State Clinton has also done a wonderful job fulfiling her role.

Q5: B+ Dispite his gaffes, he's 100 times better than the last VP and clearly not power hungry as Cheney.

Q6: B+ only because they could do a better job pushing their collegues to vote according to what their constituents want and NOT what their affiliated political party wants.

Q7: 'A' but could easily slide down to 'B' if they can't get past this issue of health care reform.

Q8: 'F' (F- if you would have allowed it) they allow the racist portion of their base to perpetuate the myth that Obama isn't an American citizen which is fanning the flames for a more violent racist outburst in the future. Plus they are holding America back from a more prosperous future by stalling on issues (economy, infrastructer, health care, etc.).

Q9: 'F' (again, F- if you would have allowed it) You have spent more time and effort reporting and vetting sources on Michael Jackson and NOTHING on the events in Iran. You don't just give up because the country prevents you from reporting!! Look harder, dig deeper, vet the hell out of the sources coming out!! You've already told me the deadly sleeping habits of MJ, now show me the same effort with Ahmadinejad!!!

Q10: 'A' As someone who voted for Hillary in the primary, he has proved himself to me and has won my support and I haven't wavered.
