Talking with Megan--in India--on the phone this afternoon I started to come up with a list of cultural things that I miss about France:
- The typical French greeting of a kiss on the cheeks.
- Sitting at a café.
- Riding on the tram.
- Walking everywhere to get around.
- Sweaters with the zipper on the shoulder instead of down the front.
- Manbags.
- People asking me for a lighter.
- Seeing people protest.
- The price you see is what you pay (tax already figured in the price you see).
- Apperatif before dinner.
- Fresh food (without additives and pesticides).
- Not paying for calls I've received on my cell phone.
- Smaller portion sizes.
- Men wearing capris.
En parlant avec Megan--en Inde--cette après-midi à l'appareil je commençais une liste des choses culturelles de la France qui me manquent:
- Faire la bise.
- Être à la café.
- Prendre le tram.
- Promener à pied partout.
- Les pulls avec la fermeture éclair sur le col.
- Des sacoches.
- Des gens me demandent d'un briquet.
- Des grêves.
- La prix qu'on voit est la prix qu'on paye (la taxe est déjà inclus).
- L'apéro.
- La nourature fraîches (sans additifs et pesticides).- Ne pas payer pour les appels reçus sur mon mobile.
- La taille des portions plus petites.
- Des mecs portant des capris.
