ren is getting over her sinus infection which was giving her a fever last week. i had an ear infection this weekend. took naps most of saturday to catch up on sleep, so i am feeling much better today than i was last week.
condo association finally got around to replacing half of of the front doors of the units on saturday. the other half will be getting theirs this coming saturday, weather permitting. now maybe if they could restain the siding and replace the rear porches, things might start to look a little bit better around the place.
ren created a blood-elf hunter using my second wow account last night. i created a blood elf paladin to level with her. i don't know if she really enjoyed herself, since she was trying to figure out the game, battle mechanics, questing, etc all at the same time, because i am utterly epic fail when it come to explaining things. i can't find the game manual for her :( hopefully her desktop will run the game; if it doesn't then i'll have to up the schedule on building my gaming rig...i was hoping to pay off my glasses and my cc bill before starting to order the parts for it so i didn't have to break into savings.
have my 2 copies of wrath of the lich king preordered and paid in full. couldn't get a copy of the collector's edition, since i didn't reactivate my accounts until about 3 weeks ago...i guess i'll have to walk into gamestop on wednesday night (thursday morning) with a fistful of cash and offer someone an obscene amount of money for theirs...
my cousin cheryl and her husband shane had dinner with us yesterday at my parents' house. haven't seen them for a while, since we went to the sierra grille about a month after they had gotten married. hopefully ren and i will get the house cleaned up soon so we can have them over for movie/game nights.
ren and i 'donated' our first lcd tv (syntac olevia 32" 720p) to my parents yesterday. it's been sitting in the bedroom, neglected for far too long, so we decided to help my parents into the 21st century. my dad is going to take it for a trial run, and if he and my mom like it, then it's theirs for free, otherwise it will go to the next family member until it finds a good home :)
