the Low down on Lodo
I get the emails from the Lodo association now. This is from their news letter. I thought it was pretty interesting.....So do tell me how ya really feel. Oddly enough I do miss Rock Island. I had a lot of fun memories there. Its sad to see that the Lodo residents never felt that charm.
Rock Island Update
Rock Island isn't a rebellious, rowdy, scandalous rascal anymore. It has been renovated and rethought. Working with neighborhood groups, the St. Charles Town Company has led Rock Island from adolescence to adulthood. The goal of this project was to combine the amenities of modern Class A office space with the enduring architectural character of the building and return the structure to its original glory. The overhaul is complete, and most agree that its mission has been accomplished. And, 100% of its 23,464 square feet have been leased--to Thomas & Tabor and Touchbase.
