Hebrews 3:7 & 9-10
" 7again He designates a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after such a long time, as it has been said:
"Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.""
"9There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His."
I guess God was talking to me because I've been stressing about a few things. I want to build my house bigger, I want to build my studio more, I want to start a new business.. etc..
I need to cease from my own works and just wait for His cue. I need to let His works in me be what's goin on. I think I see bits of what coming and I stress myself out trying to force what I think is happening to happen but thats stupid. It wasn't me who started the good work, it wasn't in my strength the good works were started and it sure won't be of anything inherrent in my that finishes the work. It needs to be Him if I want whatever it is to be eternal. And besides, His way is going to be so much smoother and better than mine. :)
The the reigns Lord. Show me where, and what. Continue to give me patience. Steady my hand in the works you've started and help me not get ahead of your timing.
