A new year has dawned, and with it, new ways of doing things. My motivation for blogging hit a low point last year, and just when I was trying to maintain two of them at once. It made things confusing, and quite frankly, my newer blog on WordPress wasn't getting a lot of traffic.
So I'm back to good old LiveJournal, which (understandably) many consider to be a relic from a decade ago. However, I have a small established audience here. Therefore, I've decided (again) to keep my main blog here. The security setting going forward will be public, so links to the posts can be on Twitter and Facebook for all to see.
I can't promise that the posts will become more plentiful, but at least it will be a one stop shop, so to speak.
My last post was mid July… man would it be nice to experience that weather again. Here we are over five months later in a deep freeze. I miss biking outside, and softball, and all sorts of other stuff that will have a wait a while. Winter, man.
Now for the mushy stuff. I met a lady three months ago, and I'm in love. Her name is Lauren, she's 30, and works for a local nonprofit. After a seemingly endless parade of dating purgatory, along she came. Suffice it to say I'm enjoying the heck out of being with her, and can't wait to see our relationship continue to blossom.
I'm sure there's more worth mentioning, but I'll stop there until the next thinky-thoughts avalanche. Thanks for reading! Feel free to leave comments on Facebook if you don't have an LJ account.
