so... I had totally forgotten about lj, well not forgotten about it but had totally not checked it in FOREVER! I received a message from steven and it popped up in my email that I had gotten it so decided to log on. I wonder if anyone even uses this anymore... like wow.. I cannot wait to go through and read my old posts and see how much life has changed. Since I can remember posting, life has changed.
I finally escaped my mentally, emotionally, and psychologically abusive ex-fiance in october of 2005. I moved to Michigan to live with my mom. 3 1/2 years ago I moved with her to her new duty station, Watertown, NY. I met my lovely boyfriend, Matthew, only a few days after we had moved. We have a place together and we have two lovely cats. We have talked of marriage and kids and deff no kids until marriage. We have been suck screw ups our lives that it is finally time to do something right :P
My sis, Sammy, is pregnant and is due on the 24th of this month. I can't wait to be an aunt again. She is having a boy and his name will be Noah Alexander.
I was involved in a bad car accident in October of 2006 that screwed up my back for a long time. A cop ran a red light doing about 60mph. He tboned me and my car did a 980 on 3 wheels. He totalled my lovely red 91 Nissan Sentra. They had to use the jaws of life to get me out and if I wouldnt have slammed my foot on the gas (yes, the gas, not the brakes) he would have hit me right where i sat and I wouldnt be here right now to tell you the story. Because it was a military police officer, the military did a whole csi investigation which took 6 months to conduct and found him at fault and the last I heard they were doing an investigation to find out if he had to pay for the brand new cop car he totalled.
I am planning on going back to college in the Fall. Just filled out my FAFSA for next year. I am going to be a juvenile drug and alcohol counselor. As we all know I have had my battles with drugs in the past and completed rehab in october of last year for my drug of choice, somas. If any of you remember thats what I was using when I got my DUI in 2004. I had kicked the habit for a long time but it snuck back up on me and luckily I do not have another DUI.
My life is pretty good now. Have a great relationship with my man and with my family. If anyone has any questions on the past few years please feel free to ask. Missed you all and will try and keep better posted on here :P
