Ottawa locals
Well , Jen and i crawled out of our hole and did something social in the Ottawa scene tonight. One of the XVI.com kids who is bartender at a bar on the military base in the city decided to do a 2nd, last minute, small event, which of course ended up being more or less a house party with decks, and a full, well stocked bar. Small but fun and drunk, and featured a good smattering of the local kids playing out (some for the first time) on the decks.
I must say, the new kids here like it HARD; hard trance, hardcore, hard dnb, hard breaks, gabber... a whole diverse night of it all, and in a curling club to boot. Good thing to do the night a cold snap hits Ottawa ;)
