Live from Pittsburg, Kansas...
...it's the "Halfway to Los Angeles" update!!
So, day one was lots of driving in the rain, but a great lunch at Pat's house and a stopover in quite possibly the largest house in Dayton, Ohio. Enough said.
Day two was a long drive, but not too bad, since the other Pete took over some of the driving duties. Sleeping was a bit rough with eight people crammed onto Beej's floor, but it was still a pretty good time (mostly, thanks to a game of Truth or Dare and about seven fitted sheets; don't ask).
Day three...well...let's just say we're still on day two. At least my car is...my clutch died about an hour out of Pittsburg, so we're back at Beej's for the night, drinking blue. That part is cool, but dropping another $500 in my car will not be.
Oh well, it could've been worse; the clutch broke on busy train tracks>: (
