I usually check my news thru myyahoo.com page. One of the first stories was about how the CIA destroyed their tapes documenting "interrogations" of "terrorists."
I went to cnn's page and of course their leading story is the mall shooting. I glanced over the headlines looking for anything on the CIA tapes and found nothing. Not a shock there.
Curious, I went to the bbc's page and saw the cia tape story right on the front page.
Makes you think doesn't it?
I really miss when CNN actually was a news agency and not a propaganda tool for fear mongers.
To me at least, the fact that the CIA destroyed tapes showing their interrogations of prisoners after the wake of torture allegations is much more of a news story than a mall shooting or that Oprah is campaigning with Barak Obama.
