...are YOU in line at Fry's to get your midnight signed copy of WoW:BC?!

[edit - 01:47am] so i decided 'what the hell, keisuke-chan and cloveroo are already in line. just a matter of dressing up warm and waiting for a bit, right?' so two pairs of pants (jeans over sweatpants. who says baggy clothes are bad? :D), one long sleeve shirt under a t-shirt and fleece jacket later, i'm ready to head out. oh, and a beanie. can't forget the beanie. i went ahead and dropped by the bank to pull cash out just to be sure i could pay for it. darn unpredictable wamu.

zoomj back to Fry's and scurry to meet up with keisuke-chan in line. amused the hell out of their group and a few other groups of people next to us in line since i brought my lappy with me (for extra warmth! yay macbook heater!) and remembered it has the WoW South Park episode on it. fairly cute girl in line was practically leaning on me to watch along with us since i guess she had never seen it before. XD

line started moving so we happily shuffled along at a much faster rate of speed than i think anyone really expected it to. i had my moment of specialness when i realized i had left my wallet in the CAR. C&T were kind enough to front me so i wouldn't have to run to my car right away. got into the store and sighed in relief as the warmth from the heaters greeted us. \o/ i was a bit worried there weren't gonna be enough collectors edition copies left, even though each (Fry's) store that was doing midnight releases got 4500 copies, they didn't really specify how it'd be split up. thankfully, my worries were more than put to rest when i saw they had like 3-4 full palletes of CE's. i snagged one while C&T got one CE and one normal.

we figured we'd already waited in line this long (well, C&T & Co much much longer than myself. :I), why not get the signatures from the developers. the line split up into two and they only let you get one group of signatures so that was kinda a bummer but seeing as we didn't really come for the signatures, it wasn't that much of big deal. besides, we got the more 'asian' group of developers. XD got our artbooks/covers signed then moseyed on over to the registers.

they had ALL of the registers open so the actual purchasing went by fast as well. i was a bit surprised to see that they weren't limiting the number of copies being sold. $200+ on amazon already. you damn buzzards. but yeah, we all left happily with our PH4T L00tz. they were letting in the last group of people just as we were leaving so i figure there must've been at least...1000-1500? i'm kinda surprised there weren't more, really.

really, i probably would've had just as much fun just being there and hanging out but it's nice to have the game too. as for when i'll actually load it up and play...ummm...whenever the servers don't crash on a regular basis? n.n;;; and yes, i will be making teh smexy blood elf. XD
