the reason why i won't be getting much sleep for a bit...
but at least it's a cute one. :3 so yeah, i'm pretty sure i'm gonna end up calling him Toboe just because he's such a cutie whiny baby. muimi07 and stormdragon can attest to this from the small visit i had with him last weekend. n.n; it really does sound like he's howling at times because he'll draw out his meows sometimes so it'll sound more like meeeeeoooooooowrrrrrrrrrr~.
all things considered, i think he's doing pretty well in the house so far. sure, the incessant meowing bouts can be a bit grating on the nerves/patience/ears after a while but eh...it's only natural since he came from a house he was already free to run around and always had a playmate to keep him company, none of which he has at the moment since we're keeping him secluded in my room until Lilly has some time to get used to yet another cat coming into the house. i'll probably try to switch them out in the morning so Lilly can sniff around my room to get used to his scent while he gets to run around the house exploring and getting used to Lilly's scent.
he's a real sweetheart and craves attention but gets squirmy rather fast if you hold him. actually, he's just fidgety in general. i was surprised to get those two good shots of him since he either kept running up to the screen to bat it or dodging away before the camera went off. x_x;
totally didn't get much sleep last night since i went to bed around 12:30, only to be woken up at 3:15 or so to the sound of nonstop meowing. it took me a bit to figure out WHY since i couldn't FIND HIM because he had somehow gotten back into the cardboard carrier box they'd given us to take him home in...and gotten STUCK in there. >_>; the lil' doofus. after that, i had to spend a while petting and scritching him to get him to calm down...then when i stopped to go back to sleep because i figured he was alright now, he protested with more meowing. "Um...excuse me, human slave, did I say you could STOP? Back to work, woman." after a while, i just gave up and tried my best to block out the barrage of meowing, eventually falling asleep, only to be woken up with a FURRY BUTT IN MY FACE. apparently, my pillow is the most optimal place for him to sleep and his bottom MUST be in contact with my face in some fashion. so...i'm looking forward to seeing how sleep goes tonight... x_x;
i am loving the lil' guy very much though, with his handsome blue eyes. :3 i just hope he's happy here and that he's getting enough luffin'~ <3
did i mention he likes to climb up onto our shoulders like a monkey and just perch there, or if we're sitting on a chair, he'll sit with his hind legs on the chair and his front paws on our shoulder and nuzzle~ <3
[EDIT - 12:50] OMG HE JUST SPENT THE LAST 2 MINUTES CHASING THE TIP OF HIS OWN TAIL. XDDDDD
