september plans
so far, there are two music acts that are coming to SF that i want to catch. i openly invite anyone and everyone on my flist to join me if they so wish to. :3
9/2 - Paramore @ Slims (along with This Providence & Hit The Lights)
9/23 - Loveparade SF 2006
Paramore is emo pop/rock. i like it. shaddap. they were picked up by the same company as Fall Out Boy so that's gotta count for something, no?
and Loveparade is...well...Loveparade. they have the list of DJs showing up so far, and ones that have definately caught my eye are JUNKIE XL and GRANDMASTER FLASH. Junkie XL wins for remixing Fight For Your Right (To Party) live when i went to go see him. and Grandmaster Flash...is one of the granddaddies of hip hop and turntablism. respect yo. o_o

in other news, yay for starting to tan! i'm no longer the lightest pinay in the bay area! \o/ pool tends to be a bit crowded during the day (2-6) but i went around 8:30 tonight and there was only one guy there when i got there, and only a small family came after i had already finished doing some laps. i'd like to keep going out during the day to crispy my legs s'more but we'll see. hopefully school starts for the youngun's soon. >_<
meh, gotta go with Sher to pick up her grandson tomorrow since her daughter is sending him to live with his dad, and apparently, her current boyfriend is making a stink about it, even though he doesn't seem to really like the kid much. so yeah, i'm there to play enforcer if he tries to make a BIG stink over it. she doesn't really expect things to get rough but better to err on the safe side i suppose. i really hope he doesn't, if not just for the kid's sake. it's going to be tough on everybody without it turning violent. *sigh* here's to hoping.
my thug mastermind has her arsonist and Gang War now. things die vere quickly now. >:3 it's good to be a villain. <3
