innit purty?
so after browsing a bit through freelayouts after seeing steph's, i saw one that just seemed too shiny NOT to use as a DJ and Music Technology major. X3 sooo very tiny and compact a space but eh...what can you do? n.n;
oof...so Trystia is at lvl 58. GASP. yes, i've progressed past Tyrella, who is still sadly stuck at 57 and will probably remain there for quite a while. poor thing. but i've FINALLY had the experience of doing raids in the 'high level' instances. the only ones i haven't stepped foot in yet are Dire Maul, Blackrock Depths and the ominous Molten Core. and i guess Lower Blackrock Spire, if you want to get technical. of course, i have been doing these ONLY as raids, not normal 5 man parties because...well, it's simpler and i'm hoping to get all of my Magister's Regalia or at least a good chunk of it beforehand. i've been doing pickup group, of which a couple were REALLY awesome whether i got l337 drops or not. others were about as fun or sensical as having to WAIT in an emergency room lobby for help.
in short:
1st Raid - Scholomance / AWESOME! bad ass party and got my Magister's Mantle.
2nd Raid - Stratholme (Undead) / blergh group, darn Baron didn't drop my pants.
3rd Raid - Zul'Gurub / if you like eating dirt, come here! it's like dirt buffet! death every fight!
4th Raid - Upper Blackrock Spire / This was my favorite so far, even if none of the Magister's dropped, awesome party...possibly because there was another Firefly fan. XDDD
5th Raid - Stratholme (Scarlet) / bleh party. didn't even ASK or ATTEMPT to do Postmaster for myself or the other mage present and were just kinda lame tards in general.
6th Raid - Scholomance / didn't even feel like finishing the raid with 'em so i skipped out.
so i guess it's hit and miss when you're doing pickup groups but for the times i've hit, i had a lot of fun. the rest of the time it's just kinda tedious as hell. haven't been doing much as far as normal questing, which i could still do plenty of in many different areas but...i guess my main target for now is Magister's. :x that and it seems i get more xp when raiding ...nevermind that i'm sure i'm just about rested up to 60. n.n; and with thanksgiving next week, i might just it 60 for once. :3 dunno if i'll start to pvp after that but...eventually.
wee~ get to see a screening of Rent tonight~! happy happy! \o/ and i'm sure i'll go see it again next week! hee hee hee~! XDDD
