taking a break from studying
my family went to vashon island this morning to get our christmas tree. i was supposed to go too, but they were vague about the date and i ended up having to work and no one could cover. lame. anyway, i think the tree they picked is ugly, but i'm probably just bitter. i know i'll end up loving it.
we had our christmas party last night at dairy queen. it was actually pretty lame. i mean, it was kinda fun to be around everyone all at once, but since the crew is so small, we were all pretty mellow. we were lacking angie and will, who usually rile things up a bit. it was nice seeing behzad and mony though. dan got me the italian job. i'm excited to see it again. dustin and i saw it in theaters months ago. woo!
i have one final tomorrow and two on tuesday and then i'm done! and hopefully sometime over break i'll be able to go to the transfer thursday and figure out what else i need to do to apply to uw. i know i need my transcripts from high school and college, so i'll work on that tomorrow, and i need to apply for graduation by friday. eek! also, the whole thing about living on campus or off: i told my step mom that if i can get into hansee (a really nice dorm at uw) that i'll live on campus. she got all huffy and said, "you won't like it. you should live in an apartment" and walked away. i have a feeling the whole, "you live on campus and we'll pay for school" thing is off... :(
anyway, i'd better get back to studying. got one more chapter to go.
