Way to go Democrat Congress & Post Office!
So the post office is looking to cut mail service to 5 days a week and the is a 2 cent raise in stamps coming in May. Post Master General Potter says there is nothing he can do and has scrubbed the books to keep he post office out of the red.
Interesting that in 2007 he was paid $180,000+ but in 2008 he got a pay increase to $260,000+. Also got a BONUS of $130,000 last year with a total pay and compensation of $850,000+. Now WHO gave him this pay raise? Your congress that just passed the insane "Stimulus Package" and the same congress that has been bashing CEO's for their pay and incentive pays.
Now granted, the pay & incentives given to PMG Potter is a FRACTION of the shit Wall Street CEO's paid themselves, it is a bit hypocritical. But I'm getting used to the lies and hypocritical ways of our government. It took a few months for the Bush Administartion to learn it. Obama & friends have it down inside of a month.
