SO GUYS, SERIOUS QUESTION FOR YOU.
Ever had a friend who is friends with everyone?
Ever had someone who is a friend of said friend, who barely ever talks to you unless you are in the same vicinity (and even then, sometimes seems to go out of their way to ignore you), suddenly start acting crazy and ~weirdly jealous around you when you and your friend are being super close and cute in public? (I'm talking about trying to get all the attention focused on THEM any time you do or say anything to your friend.)
Is anyone as weirded out by this shit as me? Because seriously, what the fuck do you DO when that happens? Do you play nice and friendly, or do you call them out on their crap?
Not going to go into major details, but... how would you guys interpret the following behaviour?
"I was here first! (Friend's name) is MY twin!"
"(Friend's name) and I have SOOOO much in common!"
"OH, YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BE CUTE AND HANDSY? *WISHES SOMEONE WOULD BE CUTE WITH ME TOO*"
....
..
Okay. Is it wrong that I'm interpreting this as the person saying those things having a massive crush on my friend and being jealous of ME being close with the friend in question? Is it wrong that it's pissing me off? Should I have called them out for being an annoying, obvious fucking twat, or was my reaction of trying to play nice for my friend the right one? Or am I the one being possessive of my friend because it pisses me off that this person is pissing all over my fun?
