Challenger, 22 years on
As I do every year, I pause for a moment to honour the memories of the crew of STS-51-L that were lost 73 seconds after liftoff on that cold January morning so many years ago when I was in the 4th grade as an entire nation watched the tragedy in horror live on television.
RIP Francis Scobee, Gregory Jarvis, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Judith Resnick, Michael Smith and Christa McAuliffe.
