update!
as you all should know, i joined a band called squad69 back in december. i've played 4 gigs with them to date, improving with every appearance. i'm also possibly involved in another 3 musical ventures, other than my own stuff.
i've been asked to play keyboard in a new band which is forming, it's not aiming to be any genre, just an experiment really. the guy behind it is supposed to be sending me a cd, shud be with me sometime soon, i may have to call him to find out if he's sent it yet.
a guy from college, tom, has his own band called gunstar heroes (named after a computer game which was my fave ever) i may be doing a synthesized introduction to a track called 'warchild' for him.
i'm also pretty excited about the prospect that i may be about to form a synth band! i know 3 keyboard players who are interested, firstly there's katy (my wonderful girlfriend of about 6 months now), then there is Paul, the keyboard player in gunstar heroes, and also gareth, the keyboard player in paul's band 'propaganja'! now all i have to do is write some songs and hopefully i can FINALLY have that band i've always dreamed of!!!!
i thought up an idea for a song last night, called neo-empirium... it goes:
