Do these terrorists ever feel an ounce of guilt? Any regret? The slightest bit of hesitation or doubt? And those who end up dying, what is it that they find on the other side?
What tenuous hope we cling to...that even in the people portrayed as the embodiment of evil, some good can still be found...

There's a very dark satirical comedy animation tv programme called Monkey Dust that's been on for the past couple of years. I've always admired the accuracy of their observations. One of the sketches that featured in the past had three young asian youths in Birmingham planning to be suicide bombers, but always changing their plans because they wanted to go to the football match, etc. It seemed so implausible it was funny back then, I doubt it will ever be shown again now.

I don't know if it's the religion itself that's the culprit more than some people manipulating it and interpreting things to serve their own purposes.
Oh yeah, it's a guarantee that Monkey Dust episode will never see the light of day again.
