Morris Buttermaker is my hero
One of my co-workers had sex during her break this evening. Lucky bitch. All I did during my break was eat.
In other news, I saw the Bad News Bears remake today. It was pretty good, but not spectacular. It was fairly faithful to the original (almost too faithful), and Billy Bob did an excellent job as Buttermaker. I was also glad to see that they didn't water it down at all in order to make it more appealing to families with younger children. In addition, they used a lot of the original characters, and the kid playing tanner especially(one of my favorites from the original films), emulated the original performance to perfection. I was, however, disappointed that there was no Rudi Stein or Ogilvie in the remake. They were sorely missed (and that stupid douchebag Prem was a poor Ogilvie substitute). Overall it was a solid film and I recommend it, although I suggest you see the original Bad News Bears and the first sequel Bad News Bears in Breaking Training first (skip Bad News Bears go to Japan, it was fucking awful in so many ways, and a disgrace to the first two films).
