I went on my first group run since being in the army. The biggest difference was that everyone there wanted to be out running early in the morning.

We had a great run. Everyone was very nice and encouraging. I noticed that southern runners don't say, "We're almost there," they say, "We don't lack much." :)

We went 10 miles out to Moccasin Bend and through downtown.  Right before the turnaround at Moccasin Bend, I saw some army folks doing a PT test and I thought, "Ha, ha, suckers."  No more for me, thanks. I'm good.
