I can post all night and, woo, post a little longer
Hair crisis averted. I think I figured out the problem. I have some cute layers going and then there's a drop-off between the last layer and the bottom of my hair. It looks a bit mulletish (gah!) if it's left to it's own devices. I need to get some of the length taken out and it should be okay.
This morning, I set to it with a curling iron. It's the first time in my life I've ever woken up and spent more than five minutes on my hair. I had to watch some "how to use a curling iron" videos on youtube last night. I managed to get through it burn-free, too. Since I have curly hair to start with, it's more than happy to be given a little direction. So I got it to look presentable. I'll post pictures sometime, now that I can laugh about it.
